Privacy Policy

1. Your tool data stays on your device

All tools on utilitech run entirely in your web browser. Text, files, images, documents, passwords, keys and tokens you enter or upload into a tool are processed locally on your device and are not sent to our servers. We cannot see, store or recover them.

2. Information stored in your browser

To make the tools more convenient, some preferences are saved in your browser's local storage, such as:

• your light/dark theme choice;
• the name list in Lucky Draw and your custom dictionary in Abbreviation & Naming;
• whether you have hidden ad banners or recently seen an ad.

This information never leaves your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for utilitech.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited, approximate location, device and browser type). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. It does not receive the content you process in our tools. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

4. Advertising

utilitech may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ad Settings or at aboutads.info.

5. Buy Me a Coffee

Donations are handled by Buy Me a Coffee. Its button and checkout are loaded from buymeacoffee.com, and any information you provide when donating is governed by their privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.

6. Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the service running. These logs are not used to identify you.

7. Feedback you send us

If you rate a tool or send feedback, we store your star rating, the type of feedback, your comment, which tool it's about, the time it was sent and — only if you choose to enter it — your email address so we can reply. This is kept in a file on our own server and used to improve the site. We don't store your IP address with it.

If you tick Show my rating and comment on utilitech, a positive review (4–5 stars) may be displayed on the site anonymously — only the stars, your comment, the tool and roughly when it was sent. Your email is never shown. Comments with links, contact details or inappropriate language are not displayed, and we may hide any review. To have your feedback removed or hidden, contact us with roughly when you sent it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act or the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to object to its processing. Because we do not run accounts or store your tool data, most information about you is held by the third-party services above. Contact us and we will help with any request.

9. Children

utilitech is intended for a general and professional audience and is not directed at children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
