IP Address Lookup
See your public IP, then look up any IPv4 or IPv6 address — owner network, country, abuse contact, reverse DNS and type.
Your public IP address
…
How to use
- Your public IP address — the one websites see — is shown at the top.
- Type any IPv4 or IPv6 address, or a hostname such as
example.com, to see who the address belongs to, its country, its range and its reverse DNS name. - The abuse contact is where to report spam or attacks coming from that address.
Where the information comes from
- Owner details come from the regional internet registries (APNIC for Thailand and Asia-Pacific, ARIN, RIPE NCC, LACNIC, AFRINIC) through RDAP, the official successor to WHOIS.
- The country is where the address block is registered. It shows the owner, not a person's exact location — mobile, VPN and cloud addresses can be used anywhere.
- Private addresses (192.168.x.x, 10.x.x.x…) and carrier-grade NAT (100.64.x.x) belong to local networks, so registries have no record of them.
Privacy
- Unlike most tools on this site, lookups go through our server, which asks the registry and a public DNS resolver (Cloudflare) for you. We don't store the addresses you look up or your own IP.
