Getting a good trace
- Vector trace redraws your image as shapes, so it scales to any size. It works best on logos, icons and flat artwork with clear edges and few colours.
- Photos become a posterised illustration — fine for a stylised look, but the file can get large. Lower the colours or raise Remove specks to simplify it.
- Start from the largest, cleanest image you have; blurry or heavily compressed JPGs produce wobbly edges.
- Embed image keeps the exact pixels inside an
.svgfile for systems that only accept SVG uploads — it doesn't make the image a vector.
